OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) — A Tennessee man has pleaded guilty to a deadly hit-and-run that occurred in Oxford.
On Monday, Seth Rokitka admitted guilt to charges of aggravated DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
The charges stem from a crash on October 16, 2022, in a parking lot behind Oxford City Hall. The incident sent two people to the hospital, and Walker Fielder, a junior at Ole Miss, died from his injuries.
Rokitka is scheduled to be sentenced on Tuesday and faces up to 17 years in prison.
