The Mowbray Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) rushed to the Pocket Wilderness in Dayton late this afternoon after a report of a high fall.
The call came in at 5:07 p.m., stating that a teenager had injured his shoulder after jumping into the water at the Blue Hole.
Mowbray VFD crews and Tennessee State Parks Rangers responded to 354 Montlake Road.
Once on scene, first responders hiked into the woods to reach the Blue Hole, where they found a 19-year-old with a shoulder injury. After stabilizing the injury, they helped him to a Mowbray VFD ATV and transported him out of the woods.
Hamilton County EMS treated the teen at 6:00 p.m. before he was taken to a hospital.
