Kentucky State Police Boost Starting Salary for New Troopers

KENTUCKY — The Kentucky State Police (KSP) have announced a pay raise for new recruits as they open applications for Cadet Class 107.

Starting troopers will now receive a salary of $69,500, marking a $2,000 increase compared to the wage set earlier in 2025 during Cadet Class 106 recruitment.

  • And other essential law enforcement skills

KSP is encouraging qualified candidates to apply as they work to strengthen recruitment and fill positions statewide.
